In 2019, the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation continued to evolve. China further deepened its reform. Driven by the in-depth implementation of strategies such as building a strong manufacturing country, the continuous upgrading of domestic market demand and the acceleration of key projects, China's equipment industry will continue to promote the supply-side structural reform around the themes of structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, kinetic energy conversion, quality improvement and efficiency increase. The machinery industry maintained a stable and rapid growth. Driven by the country's "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy, the import and export of equipment products will continue to maintain rapid growth, and the exhibition platform in the equipment industry has become the main platform for carrying trade exchanges in the industry.

Tianjin has a superior industrial manufacturing industry foundation and a strong radiation force of industrial bases, and is located at the core of the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. In the first half of 2019, Tianjin focused on high-end industries and improved the intelligent industry. The industrial added value was 417.048 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5%, and the profit situation of enterprises improved. The industrial structure of Hebei Province continued to be adjusted and optimized, and its driving force for economic development continued to increase. In the first half of the year, the gross domestic product of Hebei Province was 1,770.00 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1% over the same period of the previous year. The industrial enterprises above designated size in Beijing achieved operating income of 1,063.31 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7% over the same period of the previous year. The overall industrial economy was stable and improving.

In the east, the industrial manufacturing power of China affects the global industrial pulse. In terms of industrial output value, China has surpassed other countries and become the world's largest industrial country. As an advanced manufacturing research and development base in China, a core industrial city in China, and an engine city for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, Tianjin is a weather vane for the national industrial development.
